Rosemary’s Blessing

We thank you for the turning of the seasons

and the long days and the short nights,

for blessing us with summertime,

with sunlight and heat, and with sand and surf.

Grant that we may use well our summer respite

for rest and recreation and recollection,

and protect us and all those we love this summer.
