Cheryl  reads the neat story from Genesis.

    Rosemary's Blessing of the Week.

People are often unreasonable and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you. Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous. Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give your best anyway.
For you see, in the end, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

    Mother Teresa

    Special Announcement: We are moving

After celebrating week after week for 10 years, PISD is asking us to move over to Sigler on Janwood.  Apparently it is quite expensive to A/C the large cafetorium at Vines.  Sigler will be more economical.  September 6 we begin our new adventure.

      Fonda west of Ft. Dodge

Do not plan on riding your bike through the towns.  Between overnight towns, there are 5-6, always jam-packed with bikers walking.  Pictured, Fonda, just west of Fort Dodge and a few of the 15 thousand riders.

      Ragbrai water station

Almost every little village had a water station, usually toward the end of the town.  A very popular stop by almost every biker. Look at that Iowa sky.

Exiting Storm Lake after a storm

We passed a rainy night in Storm Lake, appropriately.  A second storm passed overhead at 7:00 A.M., heading west to east really swiftly.  By 8:45 we could head out following the storm, but not in rain.  The day turned beautiful and we arrived dry in the beautiful over night town of Fort Dodge, the former home of Kent & Diane.
