Rosemary's Blessing:

O Lord, you mark the journey of life with change. Once again we witness your creation moving from one season to the other. Change is your instrument of growth that brings us to a deeper relationship with you. May your Word be the lantern that guides the roads of change in our lives. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

    Prayer for Good Humor
    by St. Thomas More

Grant me, O Lord, good digestion, and also something to digest.
Grant me a healthy body, and the necessary good humor to maintain it.
Grant me a simple soul that knows to treasure all that is good
and that doesn’t frighten easily at the sight of evil,
but rather finds the means to put things back in their place.
Give me a soul that knows not boredom, grumblings, sighs and laments,
nor excess of stress, because of that obstructing thing called “I.”
Grant me, O Lord, a sense of good humor.
Allow me the grace to be able to take a joke to discover in life a bit of joy,
and to be able to share it with others.

    Loving God,

As I journey into the unknown territory of a new year…

As I hurt in the process of loving those I dislike or find difficult…

As I learn to accept my strengths, weaknesses and mistakes…

As I keep searching for the truth in times of confusion, doubt and conflict…

As I try to be a voice for the voiceless and powerless…

As I strive to live and witness your inclusive love, compassion, forgiveness, justice and peace…

As I do the work of the Christmas message and make Christ visible to others…

Walk closely with me, my God.

  • Special Announcement November 17, 2021

Because someone attending Mass last Sunday has been diagnosed with the Covid virus, the Board would like to reinstitute some of the precautions that we were using when we first came together again as a Community for Mass.

    1. Masks.  We have all been wearing masks.
    2. Observe the 6 foot rule.  Families may sit together but different families should maintain a 6 ft distance from each other.
    3. No touching or wandering around.  At the Kiss of Pease, please wave or nod to each other rather than hugging and touching.
    4. Sanitize.  There will be a bottle of hand sanitizer on the table when you come in.

We are all vaccinated and these extra precautions should provide a safe atmosphere to celebrate Mass.

    Thank you.

    Rosemary's Blessing:

May the blessing of the rain be on you—
    the soft sweet rain.
May it fall upon your spirit
so that all the little flowers may spring up,
and shed their sweetness on the air.
May the blessing of the great rains be on you,
may they beat upon your spirit
and wash it fair and clean,
and leave there many a shining pool
where the blue of heaven shines,
    and sometimes a star.
