    Hi, Harper.  Tell your dad it is so nice to see him.  Happy Easter.

  • The Baptism of the Lord January 11 2026

    Isaiah 42:  Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen one with whom I am pleased, upon whom I have put my spirit;
    Acts of the Apostles 10:
    Peter proceeded to speak to those gathered
    in the house of Cornelius, saying:  “In truth, I see that God shows no partiality. Rather, in every nation whoever fears him and acts uprightly is acceptable to him.
    Matthew 3: After Jesus was baptized, he came up from the water and behold, the heavens were opened for him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming upon him. And a voice came from the heavens, saying, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”

    When we learn to see beyond what we have been told to see, we take our place among the world of adults. Then we are obliged to take responsibility for the consequences of our own actions.

     Samuel 26: But David said to Abishai, “Do not harm him, for who can lay hands on the LORD’s anointed and remain unpunished?”  So David took the spear and the water jug from their place at Saul’s head, and they got away without anyone’s seeing or knowing or awakening.

    1 Corinthians 15:  Just as we have borne the image of the earthly one, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly one.
