Reminder for Sunday, August 2, 2015, 18th Ordinary Time

Hi Everyone,

John and Rosemary finally got back home on Thursday night after having their flights cancelled 3 times.  We are looking forward to seeing everyone at the ArtCentre of Plano for Mass on Sunday.

2 Kings 4:  Elisha said, "Pass it around to the people to eat."  His servant said, "For a hundred men? There's not nearly enough!" Elisha said, "Just go ahead and do it. God says there's plenty."   And sure enough, there was. He passed around what he had – they not only ate, but had leftovers.

Ephesians 4:  You have one Master, one faith, one baptism,  one God and Father of all, who rules over all, works through all, and is present in all. Everything you are and think and do is permeated with Oneness.

John 6:  When the people had eaten their fill, he said to his disciples, "Gather the leftovers so nothing is wasted."  They went to work and filled twelve large baskets with leftovers from the five barley loaves.

Amos 8:  The Lord has sworn by the pride of Jacob: Never will I forget a thing they have done!

1 Timothy 2:  For there is one God.  There is also one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as ransom for all. 

Luke 16:  The person who is trustworthy in very small matters is also trustworthy in great ones; 

Very exciting first Sunday at the ArtCentre.  We were welcomed by the Fire Department.  It seems Richard and Hue got stuck in the elevator  and they had to call the Fire Department to get them out

Because of the grouch that you carried with you?

If not, what’s the use of a grouch or a frown?

If it won’t smooth a path or a grim trouble down?

If it doesn’t assist you, it isn’t worth while:

Your work may be hard, but just do it and smile.
