    Rosemary's Blessing:

… May God bless you with enough foolishness
to believe that you can make a difference
in this world, in your neighborhood,
so that you will courageously try

Bulletin 5 on the Lumbar Stenosis event:

    1. Surgery at Dallas Presby yesterday to take the pinch off of my spinal nerve which sent pain from my derriere all the way to my right foot & arch.
    2. the only pain now comes from the incision.  This was expected to be pretty significant.  Remedy: 2 pain pills.  Result: no pain, but significant dizziness.  I thought I had downed 2 shots of Jack Daniels.
