Jeremiah 20:  But the LORD is with me, like a mighty champion: my persecutors will stumble, they will not triumph. In their failure they will be put to utter shame, to lasting, unforgettable confusion.
Romans 5:  But the gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, how much more did the grace of God and the gracious gift of the one man Jesus Christ overflow for the many.
Matthew 10:  Are not two sparrows sold for a small coin? Yet not one of them falls to the ground without your Father’s knowledge. Even all the hairs of your head are counted. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Rosemary’s Blessing:

Loving God, through the gift of our fathers,
you reveal your wisdom, love and care.

Continue to bless and guide these holy men
you have given to us in our lives.

Support them in their call
to lead holy lives of faithfulness, respect and integrity.

May their witness of faith and love
shine from them and on their children and families
giving hope and encouragement to all.

Bless them for all the ways they lift their children to achieve their dreams.
Bless them for their sacrifice, their forgiveness and their guidance.

Bless grandfathers, uncles, brothers, cousins, teachers and coaches
who have shown us love and support.

For those fathers who have lost a child or spouse,
give them your loving touch of healing
consoling them with your gentle care.

For those fathers who have gone before us,
bring them to your eternal banquet of joy and peace;
bring them the fullness of union with you
and communion with us as we remember their love for us.
Amen.

A special financial report from Grace, our board president:

On behalf of John Stack Ministries I would like to present the financials for the first quarter of 2015.

First we want to thank the community for their past and present generosity. We are so thank for all you do and contribute.

The starting balance on January 1 was approximately 14,000.00 and ending March 31 with a balance of 12,000.00.  That being said we are running 2000.00 short for the first quarter.

We have a reserve amount of 38,000.00 that we have available to tap into if our situation requires.

Weekly expenses are approximately 1200.00 per week which includes rent, insurance, music and salary. Rosemary reports the weekly income in the weekly blog so the community can see our weekly deficits which can range from 200.00 to a 400.00 short fall each week.

If you are able to contribute a small amount more each month we would greatly appreciate your help.  We will review our financials in 6 months and report our situation at that time.

Thank you to the choir for the outstanding music, the family’s who attend, Kevin and Georgie and also to John Stack, John Cade, and Mike Carroll for their inspirational homilies, in making us think about our daily lives and wanting  to be better individuals. And to Rosemary for all you do that doesn’t get mentioned, as well as your endearing end of mass prayers!

    Thank you,  Grace
