Vaccines!!

Extra, Extra, I am seeing a Light at the end  of the tunnel!

Rosemary & I got our vaccines today at the Fair Park Super Center.  I phoned John Cade, he raced down, and he and his mother in law got the vaccine, too.

As of today you need no appointment.  Just be 75 or older & ID.  I will verify that you are all passed that age.

It took us 1 hour waiting in the car to get in the Fair Park gate 5 check point.  Once in, it was really well organized and in 2 1/2 hours we walked out vaccinated.

The easy & quick way to get there: 75 South, I30 East, look for the Ferris wheel on your right, and you are there.

Rosemary & I wanted to pass the word as soon as possible.   Rosemary was given this tip yesterday afternoon, Wednesday by a neighbor.   No wonder we love this neighborhood!

Happy Birthday today, Jan Keszler!

Am I actually seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

Sorry Folks. This is late and there are no pictures, but the writer is sick.

Isaiah 40:  Like a shepherd he feeds his flock; in his arms he gathers the lambs, carrying them in his bosom, and leading the ewes with care.

2 Peter 3:  But according to his promise we await new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Mark 1:  Behold, I am sending my messenger ahead of you; he will prepare your way.  A voice of one crying out in the desert: "Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths."

We will be helping the seniors from the Wellness Center for Older Adults in Plano. If you’re interested in “sponsoring” someone, please text Lynda Fleming at (972) 754-0823, and she’ll let you know what is on their wish list. The Wellness Center could also use gift cards for fast food places, restaurants like Chili’s and Texas Roadhouse which is near their facility or Walmart and Visa gift cards – any amount is fine. If you just want to give a monetary donation, Lynda will be happy to be your personal shopper. Thanks so much for your support!

    Rosemary's Blessing:

Oh God of humor enable us to laugh at your mischievous plans.

Life can become serious during these cold winter months, and our hearts can become heavy and burdened with responsibilities, decisions and trying to keep everyone happy.

Let us look for the funny things that happen, the unexpected surprise that catches us off-guard, along with the incongruences that we encounter.

Smile, snicker, giggle, give a belly laugh, and spontaneously guffaw.

You will be amazed at how God works through laughter.
