Rosemary's Blessing

Lord God who is endlessly patient

with our foolish and annoying frailties,

instill in us patience for our fellow humans.

Help us to keep our temper cool,

our nerves calm,

and our disposition amiable.

    Rosemary’s Blessing of The Week

    Gracious God inspire us with the hope in the gift of shalom, the gift of wholeness and the promise of your presence.

    Give wisdom to seek nonviolence as an answer to the violence of our lives and world.

    Give us courage to seek wholeness in a fractured and divided world, to find reconciliation rather than revenge, to abandon the instruments of violence and death and entrust our lives, our homes and our families to you.

    May your presence fill us and others with the thirst for unity, wholeness, and the desire to see all people valued as created in your image.

    May we and others receive your shalom, that we might be faithful instruments of your love.

    Blessed be your name forever,

    Amen.

    Rosemary's Blessing

    May God grant you the strength and faith to

    Count your blessings, not your crosses;
    Count your gains not your losses.
    Count your joys not your woes;
    Count your friends not your foes.
    Count your smiles not your tears;
    Count your courage not your fears.
    Count your health not your wealth;
    And love your neighbor as much as yourself.

    Rosemary's Blessing

    Dear Lord, please give me

     A few friends who understand me and remain my friends;

    A work to do which has real value,

         without which the world would be the poorer;

    A mind unafraid to travel, even though the trail be not
