Community Bulletin Board: 

We have been supporting LifeNet which provides housing for the homeless.  We donated $1000 last Christmas and will do so this Christmas.  We have served Thanksgiving dinner to their homeless the past two Thanksgivings.  A great agency.  The Dallas Morning News, Wednesday, the 29th, has an good article: Download Homeless – LifeNet

Please join us for the next JULIET gathering.  Thursday EVENING to include

those who work during the day.  May, 5 at 6:00 for cocktails, followed by

dinner at 7:00.  MARCUS CAFE in the II Creeks Shopping Center

Custer at Lookout in Richardson,  South of Bush Turnpike.

 Named "The best patio for outdoor dining in the Metroplex" (or if weather

demands we can eat inside as well).  Great Italian food, live music, full bar,

 He will join us for Mass on Sunday, Sept. 29, but will share his insights
into the Bible on Saturday, the 28th.  You will find it a fascinating and

2.  ROMEO lunch Friday, September 20, 1:00.  We are home.

 3.  The Women's Lunch Group on Thursdays begins again, this time at The Olive Garden, Central and Plano Pkwy, northbound service road.    For more info talk with Carol or Bernadette.

4.  Christmas Concert at the Meyerson:
believe it or not, it is time to buy our group tickets.  We will have a
sign up sheet Sunday and Rosemary will begin talks with her rep, Blake, at the Meyerson.  Included will be a visit to the Rectory for wine & cheese
and a ride through Highland Park to see the best lights.  We have a date: December 19 and tickets will be around $50.  

Connected with this, a plan is developing to visit the Christmas lights in Highland Park on bikes one evening, a common event.  We have our guide, Chris Phipps, who lives there, and the old geezer can second, since this is his old neighborhood.  Get your bike lights polished.
