True?

The result of a consistent and total substitution of lies for factual truth is not that the lie will now be accepted as truth and truth be defamed as a lie, but that the sense by which we take our bearings in the real world—and the category of truth versus falsehood is among the mental means to this end—is being destroyed.

Welcome, Jim, and Peace.

Isaiah 11:  Then the wolf shall be a guest of the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; the calf and the young lion shall browse together, with a little child to guide them.
Romans 15:  May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to think in harmony with one another, in keeping with Christ Jesus, that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 3:  I am baptizing you with water, for repentance, but the one who is coming after me is mightier than I.  I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

When we learn to see every flower, hear every bird, we will be closer than we have ever been to being fully alive.

From Lynda Fleming:

Senior Citizens Angel Tree:
We are partnering again this year with the Wellness Center for Older Adults in Plano. There are a variety of ways you can help:
~ If you would like to sponsor a senior, please text Lynda Fleming at 972-754-0823 with the number of seniors you would like to sponsor and a budget amount.
~ If you would like to make a contribution, please Venmo her @LyndaFleming and she’ll be happy to shop for you.
~ if you would like to donate $20 gift cards, the most requested places are Walmart, Subway, Target and Aldi.

Thanks so much for your support and generosity!!

I asked Lynda how much it would cost to sponsor a person.   She said  it would probably be $20-$30. They typically want pajamas or a couple pieces of clothing or a small appliance, things like that…
She also said The Wellness Center will contact as many of their people as they can to ask for needs and wants. If they don’t need anything specific, we give them a gift card depending on if they asked for a restaurant, groceries or general items.
