2.  Apologies again for failing to get out the blog/bulletins last Monday & Friday.  In Iowa the internet connections were poor in the small towns where we camped out at night.  Moreover, after a day of riding a bike for 85 miles, exhaustion took over.  And try to find an electrical outlet!

Lutheran Church Sanctuary: when the police made us all take refuge from a violent storm that flattened our tent & many others, hundreds of us spent the night in this hospitable church.

People spent the night everywhere. Great spirit despite it all. Next morning everyone mounted up and rode on.

    JULIET LUNCHEON, (aka.,just us ladies into eating together), February,

    Juliet’s ladies luncheon group will be meeting Friday, February 3 at 1:00 P.M. at Eddy’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant, 2108 W. 15th Street, Plano.  It is located at 15th Street and Custer next to McDonalds.

    For those of you who have not eaten there; it is a cozy Italian Restaurant who offers pasta dishes, pizza and other Italian specialties. Lunch prices are very reasonable and their garlic rolls are great. Even better it is a BYOB.

    From Frank & Laura Reyes: Plano Community Theater. The dates are Jan. 22,23,24,29,30 and 31 at 7:15pm. The show is called Villian Wore a Dirty Shirt, a Melodrama set around the gold
    rush era. Tickets are $15 in advance or $17 at the door, but that includes
    beer and wine. As I had mentioned we found that we are much better actors if
