Kate Banzhaf: Kate died returning to Colorado Springs from Denver, where she watched the Denver playoff game. Her girl friend lost control of her car and Kate, the only passenger, was killed at the spot.
I will leave on Wednesday for Colorado Springs, the home of Rose & Wally. There will be a memorial Thursday or Friday, and I will return to Dallas Saturday.

We donated this week:
- $700 for Karina in Mexico. This includes donations targeted especially for Karina in Cuernavaca, Mexico. I will take this to her Jan. 28, when I visit Mexico to see how she is doing after the death of her mother recently. She had panicked a bit, especially that she might get thrown out of her little garage. She is the woman who had polio as a young girl and is crippled. We have supported the two of them for over 20 years.
