      Assumption Hall, Spring Hill College, the Jesuit students' residence.  I lived there 1962-1965 with ca. 150 fellow Jesuits.  It has been torn down and replaced with a colony of attractive student apartments.   Did the college not want to make  it a historical monument??

    Under the main, downtown train station in Basel, Switzerland, there is this enormous, secure, and almost full bike parking area.  In Amsterdam this would not be nearly enough.  People ride bikes!
