1.  April 27, This Saturday, The Great Annual Anniversary Party (8th), Heritage Farm on 15th just east of Custer, covered dish, 6:00 P.M.  If you are celebrating a special anniversary, join us in renewing our wedding vows, Rosemary & John.  Welcome all kids.  The wagon will roll.  Come see if Rosemary will sign up for another year.

The Purple Stride Event to raise money for pancreatic cancer (this is the cancer Carol had) is being help at Klyde Warren park in Dallas on April 30^th between 8:00 and 12:00.   The event is a 5K walk or run.  You can find more information at the following URL:

There is a volunteer opportunity on Saturday, April 9, 2022.   The Annual All Kids Count Event and we need help from amazing people like you! The volunteer hours will be from 9 AM – 3 PM at Circle R. Ranch in Flower Mound. 

They need volunteers to come out and help set up for the event, and assist at certain activities including horses, arts and crafts, games, bounce houses, food and drink stations, and more.

Special Announcement: We are moving

After celebrating week after week for 10 years, PISD is asking us to move over to Sigler on Janwood.  Apparently it is quite expensive to A/C the large cafetorium at Vines.  Sigler will be more economical.  September 6 we begin our new adventure.  This is the next to last Sunday In San Vino.

I made connection with a pair of eyes, and I thought, "This is incredible; these eyes are penetrating me." I went through the whole performance just relating to those eyes, giving the whole thing to those eyes…  When curtain call finally came, I looked in the direction of those eyes, and it was a seeing eye dog…  I couldn't get over it — the compassion and intensity and understanding in those eyes, and it was a dog.

2 Christmas Performances:   Here are two performances at two different venues, one at the Meyerson as usual, the other at the brand new Winspear Opera House.  The plans:

    1.  December 10, Thursday, 7:30: The Meyerson.  Christmas Special, $55 (New Director this Christmas.  David Davidson died of cancer Saturday.)

    2.  December 15, Tuesday, 8:00:   The Winspear, South Pacific, $50 (cheapest in the house; with 15 or more we get better seats at $55)

As an extra: pre-performance wine & cheese at the Tulip Lane parsonage with a tour through the best Christmas decorations in Dallas, i.e., Highland Park.

Let Rosemary or me know if you would like one or both performances, say, by the end of September
