Save the Date: May 1, Saturday evening, 6:00, Heritage Farm, our neighbor (15th, just east of Custer on the south side), Community party and 5th Anniversary of Rosemary and hubby.  Covered dish, BYOB (sorry), renewal of marriage vows, music & dancing a la Hue, hay rides with mules, indoors and outdoors.  For food, A-O, hors d'oeurves; P-Z, desserts; or whatever you like.  Please bring enough for you and two others.

Note we are not at Fairview Farm like the past few years, but at Heritage Farm, which is a block east of Vines on the same side of the street, just east of Custer beyond the Chase Bank.

• Sunday, July 1: Summer Blood Drive.  Sign up this Sunday.  We need your Blood!  Can we get 20 People?
• Saturday, July 7: Roofing job in Rowlette, starting at 8:00 A.M., partnering with Lake Point Baptist.  If you can use a hammer, I need you.  Pizza for lunch.   Also, if you have them: bring tools like a framing nail gun, table saw, circular saw, extension ladder, old paint brushes for tar, extension cords, levels, and hand tools like hammers.  Get ready: We will have a ball!

Mass: Second Sunday of Advent: 9:30; coffee, donuts, home made muffins, & juice on the house.

Place: Vines High School on 15th between Custer & Independence.

Readings: Isaiah 11, 1-10; Psalm 72; Romans 15, 4-9; Matthew 3, 1-12

Thanksgiving Tree:  will be set up on the stage.  Nearby will be paper ornaments on which you may answer the question, " I thank God this year for…"  Use the ribbons to tie it onto the tree.  Kids will find special ornaments that have a picture to color on one side, while the blessing can be put on the other side.  We will keep it up every Sunday into Christmas Eve Mass at 4:00.  Perhaps a couple of blessings can be read anonymously each Sunday.  Our Thanksgiving continues into Christmas.

4. Services of Hope, 6540 Victoria Ave. Dallas: still want to help out with serving the less fortunate at Thanksgiving, like we used to do at the church? Book the Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 21.  More info the upcoming Sundays at Sigler.
