The Purple Stride Event to raise money for pancreatic cancer (this is the cancer Carol had) is being help at Klyde Warren park in Dallas on April 30th between 8:00 and 12:00.   The event is a 5K walk or run.  You can find more information at the following URL:

    Please remember Peter McGinn, 61, Rosemary's brother, who died Monday morning in Boston.  Amyloidosis was the cause and could not be brought under control.  This Monday morning we will attend a family memorial near Binghamton, NY.  A month from now a large, public memorial is being planned.  J.S.

    Re the cruise – if someone is interested in the cruise, or even think they might be interested, they only have to put a deposit of $25.00 per person by 8/26.  They can always cancel (up to a certain point and I will find out what the latest cancel date is), but we need at least 8 cabins booked by then or we lose the group status.

    There  is one of my most favorite funkie streets in whole world, Queen Street in Toronto.   It even has old streetcars, running east & west above the edge of Lake Ontario.   There is even a Mexican restaurant run by a couple from Mexico City.   Renee Reddick & her older son, Julien,  (graduating from college this spring), often take Rosemary & me to celebrate our visit.   This homey little restaurant has like six tables max.

     

     

    Community Activities:  

    ROMEO MEET: Friday, March 2, Jason's Deli, Collin Creek Mall, west side of Central, 1:00.  Welcome all wakos, you will fit right in.  Bill & Jim & I will not make it, John

    JULIET LUNCHEON, (aka.,just us ladies into eating together),  March Luncheon, March 2nd at 12:30.  Ocean Seafood and Grill, 3829 W. Spring Creek Pkwy. See you there.
