Palm Sunday, March 29, 2026

Isaiah 50:  The Lord GOD is my help, therefore I am not disgraced; I have set my face like flint, knowing that I shall not be put to shame.
Philippians 2:  Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness;. . . .
John 9:  He said, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The teacher says, “My appointed time draws near; in your house I shall celebrate the Passover with my disciples.”‘”

“Friendship,” Coleridge writes, “is a sheltering tree.” It shades us in the sun, shelters us in the rain and protects us from the harsh winds of life. Our friends stand between us and the storms of life to give us the time and reflection we need to become our strongest selves.
The Monastic Way, Sister Joan Chittister

Donna Dinsmore asks for prayers for her daughter, Dana, (and unborn child) who is having  some problems during her pregnancy and still has 10 weeks to go.

    • What do you think about putting together a community directory with just names, perhaps email addresses, phone number, even address?
    • What about a food drive Christmas Eve?  When St. James Parish said they did not want our donations any more, I forgot about the project.  But, we have Food Banks in Plano & Richardson, and people have said they would like to contribute.

     True?

The only important thing is to follow nature. A tiger should be a good tiger; a tree, a good tree. So man should be man. But to know what man is, one must follow nature and go alone, admitting the importance of the unexpected. Still, nothing is possible without love….For love puts one in a mood to risk everything, and not to withhold important elements.
