Saturday, July 7: Roofing job in Rowlette, starting at 8:00 A.M., partnering with Lake Point Baptist. If you can use a hammer, I need you. Pizza for lunch. Also, if you have them: bring tools like a framing nail gun, table saw, circular saw, extension ladder, old paint brushes for tar, extension cords, levels, and hand tools like hammers. Get ready: We will have a ball!

~ If you would like to sponsor a senior, please text Lynda Fleming at 972-754-0823 with the number of seniors you would like to sponsor and a budget amount.
~ If you would like to make a contribution, please Venmo her @LyndaFleming and she’ll be happy to shop for you.
~ if you would like to donate $20 gift cards, the most requested places are Walmart, Subway, Target and Aldi.

I asked Lynda how much it would cost to sponsor a person. She said it would probably be $20-$30. They typically want pajamas or a couple pieces of clothing or a small appliance, things like that…
She also said The Wellness Center will contact as many of their people as they can to ask for needs and wants. If they don’t need anything specific, we give them a gift card depending on if they asked for a restaurant, groceries or general items.

JULIET LUNCHEON, (aka.,just us ladies into eating together),
Juliet’s Luncheon Ladies will meet Friday, March 3 at 1:00 P.M. at Ocean Seafood and Grill. For all who have not been there the food is very good and reasonable. It is a BYOB. I thought this would be a good choice because it will be Lent and some of us do not eat meat on Fridays during Lent. Ocean is at 3829 W. Spring Creek Pkwy., Plano, behind Chic-Fil-A which is on Coit Rd. (Spring Creek and Coit). Please let me know if you can join us. They do have other choices besides seafood.
