Rosemary’s Blessing of The Week

Prayer of Gratitude

O Creator,

Awaken my heart

    to the miracle of life that surrounds me;

    the beauty of friendship, family, and community;

    and the knowledge that I am forever held in your love.

May I always remember to seek your grace in unexpected places,

filling me with joy and gratitude for your abundant blessings,

as I open myself to the Charity of Christ.

Amen

    Rosemary's Blessing

    May God grant you the strength and faith to

    Count your blessings, not your crosses;
    Count your gains not your losses.
    Count your joys not your woes;
    Count your friends not your foes.
    Count your smiles not your tears;
    Count your courage not your fears.
    Count your health not your wealth;
    And love your neighbor as much as yourself.

    Rosemary’s Blessing

    Grant us, Lord God,

    A vision of your world as your love would have it:

    A world where the weak are protected, and none go hungry or poor;

    A world where the riches of creation are shared, and everyone can enjoy them;

    A world where different races and cultures live in harmony and mutual respect;

    Give us the inspiration and courage to build it, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
