   Hello, my name is Anthony DeGenova.  I am 17 years old, and am working on my Boy Scouts Eagle Project.  My mission is to donate LEGO blocks to under-privileged children.  This project includes the collection, cleaning, sterilizing, sorting, packaging, and delivery of the LEGO blocks to a few charities that cater to children. I plan to donate all of mine, and would like very much to collect as many as possible from friends and neighbors like you, who wouldn’t mind giving theirs up for needy children.  I am accepting both used and new LEGO blocks. Christmas Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 24th at 4:30 PM.  There will be no Mass on Sunday, December 26th.

I asked Lynda how much it would cost to sponsor a person.   She said  it would probably be $20-$30. They typically want pajamas or a couple pieces of clothing or a small appliance, things like that…
She also said The Wellness Center will contact as many of their people as they can to ask for needs and wants. If they don’t need anything specific, we give them a gift card depending on if they asked for a restaurant, groceries or general items.

A teenage boy had just passed his driving test and inquired of his father as to when they could discuss his use of the car. His father said he'd make a deal with his son, "You bring your grades up from a C to a B average, study your Bible a little, and get your hair cut. Then we'll talk about the car." The boy thought about that for a moment, decided, he'd settle for the offer, and they agreed on it.After about six weeks his father said, "Son, you've brought your grades up and I've observed that you have been studying your Bible, but I'm disappointed you haven't had your hair cut." The boy said, "You know, Dad, I've been thinking about that, and I've noticed in my studies of the Bible that Samson had long hair, John the Baptist had long hair, Moses had long hair, and there's even strong evidence that Jesus had long hair.
