3. Love for the Kids picnic, December 12.  Book it.  Bill will have a signup sheet.  This is a great event for underprivileged kids, hundreds of them.                                                                                                                                            
4. Services of Hope, 6540 Victoria Ave. Dallas: still want to help out with serving the less fortunate at Thanksgiving, like we used to do at the church? Book the Saturday before Thanksgiving, November 21.                                                                                                                                          I would say that this is a little different than our former experience.  The charity will pack over a 1000 Thanksgiving dinner baskets.  Instead of serving a meal, volunteers will load the baskets and hand them to the appropriate people.

   There are two hand out times, morning & afternoon.  I think Rosemary & I will spend a couple of hours there, probably late morning or, say, around 3:00 in the afternoon.

Here is our schedule in case you can come join us.  Bona Responds has about 6 – 8  students coming to Dallas to work May 17^th, 18^th, 19^th and 20^th.  I’m hoping we can supplement with 5 to 10 additional people.   Work as much as you can but there will be something for everyone to do.  Be sure and bring sun screen, water and lunch.
