Reminder for All Saints Sunday November 2 2025

Revelation 7:  These are those who come from the great tribulation.  And they’ve washed their robes, scrubbed them clean in the blood of the Lamb.  That’s why they’re standing before God’s Throne.
1 John 3:  For this is the original message we heard: We should love each other.  Let’s not just talk about love.  Let’s practice real love.
Matthew 5:  When Jesus saw his ministry drawing huge crowds, he climbed a hillside.  Those who were apprenticed to him, the committed ones, climbed with him.  Arriving at a quiet place, he sat down and taught his climbing companions.

John Cade’s Homily from last Sunday:  10-26-25 Homily -30th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Good food is the hallmark of every season: fresh fruit in summer, roasted chestnuts in the fall, warm bread in winter, oyster stew in the spring. Leslie Newman says of it, “As the days grow short, some faces grow long. But not mine. Every autumn, when the wind turns cold and darkness comes early, I am suddenly happy. It’s time to start making soup again.”
The Monastic Way, Sister Joan Chittister
