The Epiphany of the Lord January 4, 2026

Isaiah 60:  Rise up in splendor, Jerusalem!  Your light has come, the glory of the Lord shines upon you.
Ephesians 3:  It was not made known to people in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit:  that the Gentiles are coheirs, members of the same body, and copartners in the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.
Matthew 2:  And behold, the star that they had seen at its rising preceded them,
until it came and stopped over the place where the child was.  They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother.

Happy New Year 2026

    TRUE?

In the late 1600s the finest instruments originated from three rival families whose workshops were side by side in the Italian village of Cremona. First were the Amitis, and outside their shop hung a sign: “The best violins in all Italy.” Not to be outdone, their next-door neighbors, the family Guarnerius, hung a bolder sign proclaiming: “The Best Violins In All The World!” At the end of the street was the workshop of Anton Stradivarius, and on its front door was a simple notice which read: "The best violins on the block.”
