Acts 14:  And when they arrived, they called the church together and reported what God had done with them and how he had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

Revelation 21:  I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with the human race.  He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will always be with them as their God.

John 13:  I give you a new commandment: love one another.  As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.   This is how all will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.”

If interested in helping to tutor math on Tuesday evenings, 6:00pm to 7:30 pm, at Harrington Library you can find out more about the program at:  http://www.intellichoice.org/   You will work with kids from grade 1 to grade 12.  Materials provided.  I have helped out for about 5 years.  The program is wonderful and the kids at Harrington are great.

Zecariah 9:  He shall banish the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem; the warrior’s bow shall be banished, and he shall proclaim peace to the nations.  His dominion shall be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth.
Romans 8:  If the Spirit of the one who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, the one who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also, through his Spirit that dwells in you.
Matthew 11:  “Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.”

The question is not what we should celebrate, but what shouldn’t we celebrate. Every occasion is an occasion. It’s not the date on the calendar that matters, it’s the cognizance in our own soul of the amount of goodness around us that is in question.
