 True?   (from Joplin, MO)

Monday at the shelter I saw a young man eating who was obviously upset and weeping. I went over and talked to him in an effort to comfort him. In the course of conversation I asked what he had lost. His answer was …terrific. He said, "I have lost any selfishness that I had before. I have seen destruction and good people giving of themselves to help those who were hurt. I will never be the same as before

    True?

After all, if we open our eyes and do not let our mind interfere too much with what we are actually perceiving, it is clear that we live only in the present. It is always now.
