Hey, All You Kids Waiting for Santa: serious rumor has it that Santa has scheduled us again this Christmas Eve, 4:00 P.M. Mass.  Better be nice to an old geezer.  Any other of you kids want to be a shepherd or angel in the Nativity Drama Christmas Eve?

Life is no brief candle to me.
It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly
as possible before handing it on to future generations.

    2.  From Lynda Fleming:

As many of you know, I’m part of a lovely company called Caring Transitions that helps seniors downsize and relocate and conduct estate sales. Similar to the angel trees that you see in shopping malls for children, senior citizens also need our help to make their holidays brighter. If you’re interested in “sponsoring” a senior citizen or if you simply want to donate money and I’ll be happy to be your personal shopper, please text me at 972-754-0823. I need the gifts by December 12th.  I’ll be at church next week, if you’d like to bring them to me then.

Thanks, in advance, for your thoughtfulness and generosity!
