1.  Habitat Build, Saturday morning, the Sept. 1, 11^th Street & Ave. E.  Welcome.  This is a unique experience of giving.

2.  Dallas Symphony Orchestra Christmas Concert.  It may be only August, but this superb performance sells out.  We get discounted tickets as a group.  Date: December 14, 8:00, tickets will be about $40.  Wine & Cheese at The Rectory pre-performance.  Traditionally, this has been a beautiful evening.

Rest Station around mile 60 keeping ahead of the water demand. High temp was only 94, but 30 mph. south winds made returning to Wichita Falls brutal.

Long lines for the port a potties the first 5 rest stations. From mile 60 on, short lines if any.

There  is one of my most favorite funkie streets in whole world, Queen Street in Toronto.   It even has old streetcars, running east & west above the edge of Lake Ontario.   There is even a Mexican restaurant run by a couple from Mexico City.   Renee Reddick & her older son, Julien,  (graduating from college this spring), often take Rosemary & me to celebrate our visit.   This homey little restaurant has like six tables max.
