Readings: Acts 14, 21-27; Psalm 145, I will praise Your Name forever, My King and My God (1st stanza, my favorite: the Lord is Gracious and Merciful, Slow to Anger and of Great Kindness); Revelation 21, 1-5; John 13, 31-35.

Community Bulletin Board: 

The Great Anniversary Party, Saturday evening, 6:00, Heritage Farm, our neighbor (15th, just east of Custer on the south side), Community party and 5th Anniversary of Rosemary and hubby.  Covered dish, renewal of marriage vows, music & dancing a la Hue, hay rides with mules, indoors and outdoors.  For food, A-O, hors d'oeurves; P-Z, desserts; or whatever you like.  Please bring enough for you and two others.

1.   We are not at Fairview Farm like the past few years, but at Heritage Farm, which is a block east of Vines on the same side of the street, just east of Custer beyond the Chase Bank.

If interested in helping to tutor math on Tuesday evenings, 6:00pm to 7:30 pm, at Harrington Library you can find out more about the program at:  http://www.intellichoice.org/   You will work with kids from grade 1 to grade 12.  Materials provided.  I have helped out for about 5 years.  The program is wonderful and the kids at Harrington are great.

You cannot trust people who, at 6:00 A.M., get on a bike for a ride that goes no where.  Then they throw a birthday party for some guy who just hit the big 80.  You cannot trust that Jewish Community Center!

Connected with this, a plan is developing to visit the Christmas lights in Highland Park on bikes one evening, a common event in that neighborhood.  We have our guide, Chris Phipps, who lives there, and the old geezer can second, since this is his old neighborhood.  Get your bike lights polished.

Freedom Tower.  A week from Wednesday, The Memorial Park will take down the fences and security, then open the museum.  Cost to enter, $25.
