For those who don’t have a decent Bible or a book of the readings, here are two links that I use, The Bible at Your Fingertips and USCCB, The New American Bible.
The difference? The second is officially Catholic and has the 12 little books in between the O.T. & N.T., called Deuterocanonical or Apocrypha.
Both are good translations. I use the first more often because it has fewer doors to pass through to get to the text. Thanks, Gerald, for this idea. I will include the link from now on.

Thanks so much for making our 4th Anniversary Brunch special, for the food, for the family, and for the blood donations. We had 15 successful donors and the blood people were grateful.
In case you missed our blood drive, this from Mary Ellen Munzell: There is a woman in Plano, Alyse Ferguson, who I believe resides on Turnbil. She is undergoing chemotherapy, has had more surgeries than expected and other troublesome health issues in her family. Currently her bill for blood alone is in the $7,000 range. No specific blood type is required. Anyone who is making a donation to Carter Blood Care just needs to specify that Ms Ferguson be given credit for the donated blood.

You have doubts? This is alligator habitat, nice cool lagoon, warm bank for sunbathing. One warm Sunday afternoon during a Thanksgiving week, there was a, say, 5 foot, sunbather. Problem: blind curves on the bike path. Thanks be to other cyclists and walkers who warned this biker.
