Community Bulletin Board:

1.  This Sunday: Collection for Samaritan Inn.  The director will address the community.  For special needs please check the handout.

2. This Sunday also: All toffee lovers, your toffee will again be at Mass.  Cost: $12.50 per box.  Checks can be made out to me, John Stack, going to Dallas North Rotary.

3. Advance notice: Christmas Eve Mass, 4:00 P.M.

4.  DSO: For all you Dallas Symphony affianados, The Best Show of The Year is here, Friday the 14th, today to be exact, 7:30 P.M.  You are all invited to The Rectory for wine & cheese on the way to the Meyerson.  Welcome, 5:30 or earlier.  We will depart at 6:30 & we will have maps through the best Christmas lights in Dallas, that is, The Park Cities.  The map will also show you the inconspicuous entrance into underground parking lot, $10.  We are almost 30 people this year.

1.     November 9, this Sunday, 10^th Anniversary of our Community, Sunday brunch.  The actual date of our debut was the Sunday before Thanksgiving, 2004.  We figure this Sunday is a better, more convenient date for celebrating.

2.    DOMEO MEET: Friday, November 7, Jason's Deli, Collin Creek Mall, west side of Central, 1:00.  All welcome.

3.    Ladies' luncheon, Thursdays,  

November; we are meeting Thursday, November 6, 4:30 pm, Steve Fields, 5013 W Park Blvd, Plano, TX 75093, (972) 596-7100.  NOTE THE CHANGE OF TIME!!!!    We’re going to happy hour, the lobster pizza is to die for and ½ price.

December; location not yet determined.  We’re looking for something holiday-ish to do.  Ideas?  Time not yet decided on.  Cathy says, "Elkes at Greenville in Allen or 5th St. Pizza, Stacy Furniture in Allen."

After celebrating week after week for 10 years, PISD is asking us to move over to Sigler on Janwood.  Apparently it is quite expensive to A/C the large cafetorium at Vines.  Sigler will be more economical.

Life is not a race—but indeed a journey.  Be Honest.  Work  hard.  Be choosy.  Say  ”thank you,” “I love you,” and “great job” to someone each day.  Go to church, take time for prayer.  Let you handshake mean more than pen and paper.  Love your life and what you have been given, it is not accidental.  Search for your purpose and do it as best you can.  Dreaming does matter.  It allows you to become that which you aspire to be.  Laugh often.  Appreciate the little things in life and enjoy them.  Some of the best things really are free.  Do not worry, less wrinkles are more becoming.  Forgive, it frees the soul.  Take time for yourself, plan for longevity.  Recognize the special people you been blessed to know.  Live for today, enjoy the moment.
