Reminder, 21st Sunday in Ordinary Time, August 23, 2020

Ezekial 18:  Hear now, house of Israel: Is it my way that is unfair, or rather, are not your ways unfair?
Philippians 2:  Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves,  each looking out not for his own interests, but also for those of others.
Matthew 21:  Jesus said to them, “Amen, I say to you, tax collectors and prostitutes are entering the kingdom of God before you.

Don’t be afraid of the unknown. It is, in fact, the doorway to the future. “The illiterate of the 21st century,” Alvin Toffler said, “will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.”
The Monastic Way, Sister Joan Chittister
