I very quietly confided to my best friend that I was having an affair.

And that, my friend, is the sad definition of "OLD".
You are lucky, John. When I was supposedly growing up in Christ the King parish, they had ushers who knocked sleepers on the head when they got caught sleeping during the sermons of old Monsignor Bender. How come we got so many sleepers this morning, John?
