Mass: Sunday, 9:30; coffee, donuts, muffins (home made), & juice on the house.

Readings: Isaiah 66, 18-21; Psalm 117; Hebrews 12, 5-13; Luke 13, 22-30

    Proverbs 8:   "The LORD possessed me, the beginning of his ways,  the forerunner of his prodigies of long ago; from of old I was poured forth,  at the first, before the earth." 

    Romans 5:  Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith to this grace in which we stand, and we boast in hope of the glory of God.

    There  is one of my most favorite funkie streets in whole world, Queen Street in Toronto.   It even has old streetcars, running east & west above the edge of Lake Ontario.   There is even a Mexican restaurant run by a couple from Mexico City.   Renee Reddick & her older son, Julien,  (graduating from college this spring), often take Rosemary & me to celebrate our visit.   This homey little restaurant has like six tables max.

     He will join us for Mass on Sunday, Sept. 29, but will share his insights
    into the Bible on Saturday, the 28th.  You will find it a fascinating and

    2.  ROMEO lunch Friday, September 20, 1:00.  We are home.

     3.  The Women's Lunch Group on Thursdays begins again, this time at The Olive Garden, Central and Plano Pkwy, northbound service road.    For more info talk with Carol or Bernadette.

    4.  Christmas Concert at the Meyerson:
    believe it or not, it is time to buy our group tickets.  We will have a
    sign up sheet Sunday and Rosemary will begin talks with her rep, Blake, at the Meyerson.  Included will be a visit to the Rectory for wine & cheese
    and a ride through Highland Park to see the best lights.  We have a date: December 19 and tickets will be around $50.  

    Connected with this, a plan is developing to visit the Christmas lights in Highland Park on bikes one evening, a common event.  We have our guide, Chris Phipps, who lives there, and the old geezer can second, since this is his old neighborhood.  Get your bike lights polished.
