Isaiah 58:  Thus says the LORD: Share your bread with the hungry, shelter the oppressed and the homeless; clothe the naked when you see them, and do not turn your back on your own.
1 Corinthians 2:  I came to you in weakness and fear and much trembling, and my message and my proclamation were not with persuasive words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of Spirit and power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God.
Matthew 5: “… Just so, your light must shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.”

Beauty of any kind lifts the soul above the humdrum to the beatific. It gives every ordinary life the sheen of possibility.

1.   Habitat build, new house, June 1, this Saturday, the neighborhood behind the Home Depot on Central, 11^th & Ave. E.  We have 4 special JSMinistry days, June 1, this week & 21 (a Friday), July 13, and
August 3.  A person may also work any Saturday.  The house will need
about 18 Saturdays of work.  I’ll be there Saturday.

The difference?  The first is Protestant more or less, and the second is officially Catholic and has the 12 little books in between the O.T. & N.T., called Deuterocanonical or Apocrypha. 

Both are good translations.
