Come at 5:30 to the condo of Beth & Rob, at 2111 Marilla on the corner with S. Pearl across the street from the Dallas Farmers’ Market.   

 Attached are instructions on how to arrive at Robinson’s, including how to arrive via DART.  Note also that you may leave your car at Robinsons and take the free DART shuttle to the Meyerson (saving you $10 parking).    We will depart the Robinsons at 6:45.    Download DART to Robinsons'

    Does not every married couple begin their married life by hiking "Rim to Rim?   That is, going all the way down the Bright Angel Trail from the South Rim to the river in the bottom of the Canyon, then climbing all the way up to the North Rim, maybe 14 thousand feet total, in one day.

  • Sunday Reminder 8-9-09, 19th Ordinary Time

    Readings: 1 Kings 19, 4-8; Psalm 34, Taste and see the goodness of the Lord; Ephesians 4, 30-5, 2; John 6, 41-51

    From Jane Drake:

    A very good friend of mine needs in-home care for six months, starting anytime and including her surgery date of Dec. 15. She is a delightful person and easy to get along with. Her husband, who is blind, works out of the house, and they have a son who is 20. They have a lot of critters in their home!

    The person’s main job would be to clean, do laundry, and make three square meals a day. No heavy lifting. No patient care. Person does not need to speak English OR drive. They must live in (they will have their own room and bath). It could also lead to a permanent position.

    If you are interested, please get in touch with John and he will give you a
    number to call.
